The Aggtelek National Park, cooperating with the Ecological
Institute for Sustainable Development, enhances the importance
of traditional land uses, the revival of cultural heritage
in order to utilise these assets and resources for their long-term
survival, while protecting the ecosystem of the area. It is
important to improve local stakeholder participation, which
hopefully will result in better understanding of the complexity
of natural and cultural assets.
