The preparatory works for the elaboration of a 14days tourism package included a survey on tourist preferences and a detailed analysis of the tourism products and services that are currently being offered in the region.
Based on these data anyalysis, a 14days package was developed and presented at the International Fair for Alternative Travel - Reisepavillon 2008 in Stuttgart/Germany. The package consists of proposals for accommodation, catering and a wide range of activities that are related to the nature of Babia Góra.
The elements of the package offer opportunities to explore the nature and culture of the region in an extraordinary way: Entertaining programmes such as a carriage ride, a local feast at the fireside, music and dance shows, a visit at the local market, meditation and wellness treatments with hay and medical plants, and educational workshops on forestry, pastoralism and local cuisine are examples for the sustainable use of the natural and cultural heritage for tourism purposes.
