During the 9th Conference of Parties of the Convention on Biological Diversity held in Bonn/Germany May 19-30, 2008, the project team presented the outcomes of the project and invited people to discuss the future implementation of the CBD Guidelines on Biodiversity and Tourism Development.
At the side event on Thursday, 23rd of May, the outcomes of the project and the experiences with the implementation of the CBD Guidelines on Biodiversity and Tourism Development were presented and possibilities of up-take and replicability discussed with the participants of the event.

The Plaza of Diversity was a fair and exhibition presenting innovative concepts, products, ideas and projects during the conference organised by the DBU. ETE together with the project partners and CEEWeb for Biodiversty were present at the plaza from May 19 - May 30.
On Thursday, 22nd of May there was a press conference by invitation of the Hungarian Ministry of Environment organised in Josvafö/Aggtelek BR.
